Activity strings like 'Fixing #120' or 'Working through open ClawView issues' are too high-level to be useful. Jack wants to know specifically what is happening.

What good looks like

• 'Fixing [Audit 4] CRITICAL: activity text shows 'Working...' instead of what the agent is actually doing #120 — rewriting .status priority logic in clawview-status-server.js'
• 'Codex review on PR [Audit 4] CRITICAL: LaunchAgent plist references old volume path — server won't start on reboot #121 — checking edge cases in stripEnvVars'
• 'Waiting for Krill QA on PR [Audit 4] CRITICAL: LaunchAgent plist references old volume path — server won't start on reboot #121 — build deployed'
• 'Reading ClawView source — audit 4 in progress, 3 issues filed so far'

Fix

Update AGENTS.md (workspace-dev and workspace-jony) to require richer .status writes:

• Include the specific file/function being changed
• Include the current step in a multi-step process
• Update .status at each meaningful step, not just start/end

This is a process change, not a code change. No PR needed — update AGENTS.md files directly.
