Issue: Setup Manager hangs at the end of setup (v1.4.5-646)

The final recon is stalling and not returning to Setup manager. It is a bit hard to determine the cause remotely since, recons are logged into the jamf.log either, especially when they aren't finishing successfully.

You might be able to recreate the issue by running sudo jamf recon -verbose immediately after creating a user and logging in for the first time. That output might tell you where the recon is stalling, but, on the other hand, the system will have changed in the mean time and the situation might be different enough so that the recon works.

One frequent culprit is that you might have "Collect available software updates" enabled in "Settings > Computer Management > Inventory Collection." This runs the softwareupdate command which is known to stall out, depending on the version of macOS version. Since software updates should be managed with the DDM/Blueprints functionality, this is not really necessary any more to gather with the inventory update.

I've done some further testing today and it seems to be working as expected as of now. We did have some utilisation issues on our Jamf instance yesterday which has since been resolved, maybe that was causing an issue with recons due to server load. I will continue testing and if the issue re-appears I will report back.

We do not have "Collect available software updates" this enabled for our inventory collection.
