Installing zip in pixel 7 causes boot loop

Running the android 16 April update on pixel 7 with magisk. When I install the zip of 0.2.5 and above, I get a bootloop and when I remove the module, the to phone boots fine. However, everything works for fibe on the older zips

Do you use the app from Play store? Different signatures probably cause this issue. If not, I'd need the device logs. I can't do anything with your limited description.

BTW, the module does nothing but install the app as a system app and I've tested it on multiple devices and ROMs. The source of the module is also available and you can build the module yourself by placing an APK in the system/priv-app/LibrePods/ directory.

Also, completely ignoring the fact that the entire app apart from the VendorID hook works for you, your 1-star review on Play store for a reason which has been addressed in #560 (not even the vendorid hook) is still there. I don't see any reason why you would leave a review on Play in the first place, when you're not even using the app from there. This just decreases the rating unnecessarily and impacts how many new users the Play store listing gets.

You have also created 3 separate issues #461 #513 and #558 for not being able to set up hearing aid. Creating multiple issues is not going to get you a faster response and neither is leaving a negative review. Even simply commenting on the issue would make it appear at the top of my inbox, if you really wanted me to have a look.

i have experienced the same, flashed the zip with KSU and I got a bootloop. uninstalled the app before flashing the zip.

Did you have it installed from Play Store first?

that I don't remember anymore. i might try installing the zip again, but my ROM currently has an audio bug on some reboots so I avoid rebooting my phone.
