Note: idk where to write this so I guess it'll go here. Apparently USACO has the -Xss option set to basically infinity (or they somehow simulate the stack), because I couldn't get my program to throw a StackOverflowError. So, don't worry about making recursive programs; they won't cause the stack to overflow. You can simulate this on your own machine by using -Xss 256m in the VM options of the target run configuration, or "ulimit -s unlimited".
