Bug: unable to create window with 64bit luajit

The typedef for WNDPROC is wrong in winapi/types.lua#227.

typedef LONG (__stdcall* WNDPROC)(HWND, UINT, WPARAM, LONG);

the last parameter has to be LPARAM than LONG under 64bit context, otherwise luajit will crash whenever creating app's main window.

Thanks for putting effort into debugging this. I've been running into this issue and trying trace it for a while now without luck; as the dispatcher seemed to work fine for me as it sent WM_GETMINMAXINFO, WM_NCCREATE, WM_NCDESTROY. No clue how did you manage to trace this but thanks.

Do note, LPARAM is defined as LONG_PTR, which is typedef __int3264 LONG_PTR, *PLONG_PTR; which in turn is defined properly in a 64bit/32bit context. So all have to do is change LONG to LPARAM and it would work properly on both 32bit and 64bit builds.

I just noticed, the return type is wrong too here, according to MSDN (and to the SDK headers) it should be LRESULT (LONG_PTR which is long on 32bit and long long on 64bit), but instead it is defined explicitly as LONG here.
