Steps to reproduce the bug
- Install the Meshtastic Android app and pair with a device with the Meshtastic firmware flashed.
- Wait for some nodes to be heard.
- On the Nodes page of the app, tap on any node in the list.
- Scroll down to the "Position" section
I have GrapheneOS installed on my device, and I've encountered issues before with apps that assume Google Play Services is installed. I wonder if that might be the case here? The main "node list" map works perfectly fine with the default OpenStreetMap tiles, though.
I don't think it's an issue with the Heltec firmware or with Android receiving the node's location from the Heltec, because it displays accurate GPS coordinates underneath the black box, and the Mesh Map screen shows node positions without issues.
Actual behavior
Actual result: It just shows a blank black box, as shown in the screenshot
Expected behavior
Expected result: I think a map preview is supposed to be visible here?

This device is running GrapheneOS, which does not have Google Play services installed by default. That's caused issues with other apps before, but Meshtastic's Android app uses OSM maps for the Mesh Map screen (which work just fine), so I'm not sure if that's the case here or not.

I am able to reproduce the bug with the latest version.
I have updated to the latest Alpha firmware, and am able to reproduce the bug. Many issues are fixed quickly in alpha before the general beta release.
