Release Cadence

I noticed that it's been more than 6 months since the last release, but there has been a lot of work done since then. What is the plan going forward for the release cadence? Or if I'm asking that question, am I just expected to build/install from source?

I've actually finished writing the release notes for v2.0.0 today and I expect it to release as soon as I get a green light. In all fairness, this is essentially a hobby project and so even going forward the release cadence will vary wildly between "rapidly" and "slowly" depending on (primarily my) spare time.
