It is possible to subscribe to multiple lists?

When a user subscribes to a list is it possible to add them into other lists at the same time?

I've done some like this:

for (var i = 0; i < selectedLists.length; i++) { await subscribeToList({ Name: req.name, EmailAddress: req.email }, selectedLists[i].ListID) }

But it's not ideal, it's susceptible to:
