Is spider actually solvable?

I love this version, everything I could want except traditional cardbacks and faces, which is a complete non issue.

I just want to know: is it me, or is spider insanely hard? I think ive got one complete suit out, twice over hundreds of games. That's full multi suit/deck spider, not the one suit reduced form.

Some sources online say 1 in 3 is normally solvable. Maybe my strategy is weak?

Close issue if you like, I just seek confidence it's understood to be like this.

When people say "Spider" they often forget to mention how many suits are used. I find "one suit" is solvable 66% of the time, "two suits" 33% of the time, and "four suits", well, never.

So if someone says "1 in 3 is solvable" then I'm guessing they mean "two suits". But then, I'm not a strong player.

BTW, I've tried really hard to get fancier card backs and faces to work, but on tiny phone screens it's just ends up being a cluttered mess.

Got to admit, when playing Spider, I "undo" almost as much as I "do".
