Display NTP Synchronization status

In order to help with fullfilment of Kiwix Hotspot, it would be precious to display the NTP synchronisation status on the hwclock page, so that one knows for sure that clock time is correct because it is currently connected to an NTP server.

We can live without it, but if it is a small thing it would definitely help.

@benoit74 @rgaudin Considering that NTP sync is mandatory (for hardware with clock), this is right might need a reassessment IMO.

From Kiwix provisioning standpoint we do not use the hwclock page anymore, so this issue is not required anymore.

From a general standpoint, solving this issue would however be useful to present an important information when it comes to managing the hardware clock of the Pi.

@benoit74 To display the sync status, we need to be online. A situation which is "uncommon" once the device in production. Therefore not sure exactly how it should work and issue needs to be refine.

hwclock page is meant to be used by "admins" ; this is an uncommon situation anyway

My hypothesis is that hostpot admins / maintainers might want to connect the Pi to an Internet network (or a network with an NTP source) to sync clock again, just like we did in the past provisioning process. E.g. to correct clock skew. Having access to current NTP status of the Pi on the hwclock page would help.

I agree it is not a priority for us to solve.

• it's not just NTP Sync Status (although that's important when not on H1)
• It's not ready but mostly developed (in a local branch)
• it's the only place where we provide the date information so it's important for those with a clock.
• H1 doesn't really care because it's secured in provisioning but battery will run out eventually (couple years). There will be no place to check.

To me the need stands (but rephrased to improved clock page) but it's not linked to H1.

Yes, we should revamp this page, and this issue is one of the things to do. Clearer to me now.
