Deliverable (WIP)

The V1.0 release shall provide stable, documented code APIs which support the ongoing and future development of platform features including: content libraries, modular learning pathways, and modernized SQL-backed courseware.

A stable release of openedx-learning a.k.a. the Learning Core which is suitable for:

• Continual delivery of Content Libraries improvements
• Migration of courses from ModuleStore
• Innovative new content delivery structures (e.g., some of the proposals from the Pathways project, like "standalone subsection")
• Community-developed content plugins

After this release, we would avoid making breaking changes to openedx-learning, so it is important to have all the foundations in a good place. We also need to deliver more documentation and address issues around how openedx-learning interfaces with other codebases (edx-platform, xblock, opaque-keys).
