Problem
Application management is fragmented across package managers (APT, Flatpak, etc.), leading to poor visibility and incomplete uninstall processes.

Proposal

1. Develop a unified application management interface within System Settings:
2. Aggregated list of all installed applications (source-agnostic)
3. Source-aware uninstall with Dependency cleanup and Residual file detection and optional removal
4. Storage usage breakdown per application

Technical Considerations

1. Build abstraction layer over APT (dpkg), Flatpak and Snap
2. Use systemd and package hooks for tracking install footprints
3. Implement safe cleanup heuristics to avoid user data loss
