Microsoft integration - sending email from System Mailbox takes 20-30 sec. #375

Summary
After changing version from 4.2.8 to 5.0 sending an email from the Mailbox through Microsoft integration takes 20-30 seconds. On 4.2.8 it was 3-4 seconds.
Tried with a completely fresh installation, same result.
Steps to reproduce
Setup the Azure Active Directory Application Settings under the Microsoft integration.
Setup a System Mailboxes and connect to Office 365.
Send email using System Mailbox.
Actual Result
Email sent, but it takes 20-30 seconds
Expected Result
3-4 seconds
