Support build options in non-Webpack bundlers

Hi all! There is the possibility of enabling globalVarName customization for other bundlers, such as Vite.js.

Based on the current documentation, it appears that using Webpack is the only way to customize this variable.
Are there plans to support this functionality in other bundlers without requiring Webpack?

There is no plan, but we'd welcome the contribution. Here's the webpack loader in its entirety:

There is one source file (getBuildOptionsModule()) whose contents should be replaced with custom build options (await getBuildOptions(overrrides)). Those functions are meant to be easy to use with other systems, but we are not familiar with Vite.js.

This works for my Bun based tooling. I'm sure something similar can be done via Esbuild which is very similar.
