Motivation
Equivalent Hydraulic Model (EHM) is one of the reduced-order models which can estimate SOC and SOH using very little computational power. EHM is derived by reducing the solid phase diffusion PDE using Pade approximation. It can track lithium concentration in the bulk and at the surface of the solid particle. Unlike ECM, EHM parameters are physically meaningful and gives more insight to the state parameters.
