Running code when rendering

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to automatically run all R codes (included in chunks) when I render my quarto code. I think it is a little weird to press render and having Rstudio keeping the objects from previous code. It seems to me that when you render, you want to run all codes as well.

I think you are mixing things up here.
Quarto does render all code cells before everything else. The only case where it won't is if you are using caching.
Also, Quarto rendering has nothing to do with the R console. It works completely independently of it.
Contrary to RMarkdown which lives in R, Quarto lives outside or R and spawns a completely fresh R session to compute the code cells, then terminate the R session. Thus, you never have access to the R session used by Quarto.
