Text overflowing in Folder Vertical [Request update with Text Wrap]

Hi,

I want to point to an issue. as shown in below image, the text is overflowing. is it possible to wrap the text to that set width and reduce font size when it overflows?

sure.. I've added auto adjusted font size and font spacing if the second tab characters count is greater than 11, so it will never overflow.

Here’s the updated version with added shadow and auto-adjusted font size for the second tab: DualTab templates v1.2.zip

You can adjust the shadow opacity and blur using the shadow config in this format: Opacity x Blur

set "FolderNameShort-Shadow=20x1"
:: Shadow opacity: 20%, Shadow blur: 1

set "FolderNameLong-Shadow=0x1"
:: Shadow opacity: 0% (Hide/Fully transparent), Shadow blur: 1

set "Tab2-Shadow=20x0.9"
:: Shadow opacity: 20%, Shadow blur: 0.9

*You might need to adjust the -geometry values if you change the shadow blur, since the text’s width and height can change and shift its position.

Bro, after using the updated templates v1.2 u gave, the font color 'F' option is not applying. Can u check once and update pls

Yeah, about that… honestly, I’ve been a bit lazy to update the color_pickers and custom_foldername scripts to fully support the DualTab templates 😅.

For now, if you want to set custom colors, you’ll need to edit the template file directly. You can change the colors under these lines:

set "FolderNameShort-Font-Color=rgba(255,255,255,0.9)"
set "FolderNameLong-Font-Color=rgba(250,250,250,0.8)"
set "Tab2-Font-Color=rgba(240,240,240,0.8)"

You can use RGB, RGBA, HEX, or even plain color names. For example:

set "FolderNameShort-Font-Color=#ff0000"
set "FolderNameLong-Font-Color=GREEN"
set "Tab2-Font-Color=rgb(0,0,255)"

If you want some color variations, you can simply duplicate the template file, for example:
DualTab Vertical - RED.bat, DualTab Vertical - GREEN.bat, DualTab Vertical - BLUE.bat, etc.,
then tweak each one however you like.

I’ll update the color_pickers function soon… when I’m not feeling lazy enough, 😅 sorry for the inconveniences!
