Is the "default" TUnit project template also without the test SDK? If yes, then we should follow the same pattern, I agree.

The TUnit project templates for sure don't have Microsoft.NET.Test.Sdk. This package is for VSTest. TUnit uses Microsoft.Testing.Platform.

Does this open the wider question of whether the New Project Wizard should allow the user to select VS or MTP?
