Dark scheme displays incorrectly in HTML files

System: Windows 10 22H2
Version: Notepad3 (x64) 7.26.426.1

When I switch to a dark scheme, in HTML files the text inside <style> tags and all blank areas (where there is no text) are rendered with the default scheme, producing a white background that is extremely glaring. Part of the code is highlighted correctly, but the white spaces and a small amount of code still show a white background. I have tested other file formats, including CSS files, and none of them have this problem. I believe this is a bug.

We can't reproduce this issue: All three factory dark schemes (Dark, Obsidian, Sombra) are working fine:

Seems to be a Schema Configuration Problem. Please provide your configuration (remove sensitive data (e.g. file history), if applicable).

Likely a custom Notepad3.ini with an explicit back: on a Web Source Code or Common Base style, since the dark theme's [Web Source Code] section and the EDITLEXER definitions don't set a light background anywhere.

I just installed the software on the night I submitted the issue and didn't adjust any configuration files. (Sorry for not mentioning this issue in my submission) I don't know why it doesn't work properly on my computer.

Thanks to @hpwamr though, I tried 7.26.514.1 beta and this issue has been resolved.
