StackDock Trademark Policy

StackDock™ is a trademark with an intent-to-use application filed in October 2025.

Trademark Status

StackDock™ is a trademark of StackDock. An intent-to-use trademark application was filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in October 2025. The application is currently pending review.

Permitted Use

You may use the StackDock name to:

  • Refer to the StackDock software project
  • Describe or reference the StackDock software
  • Link to the StackDock repository or website
  • Discuss or review the StackDock software

Restricted Use

You may NOT use the StackDock trademark to:

  • Name your own products or services
  • Use in domain names (except official StackDock domains)
  • Use in company names or business names
  • Create derivative works using the StackDock name
  • Suggest endorsement or affiliation without permission
  • Use in a way that causes confusion about source or affiliation

Attribution

When using the StackDock name, please:

  • Use the ™ symbol: StackDock™ (while application is pending)
  • Use the ® symbol: StackDock® (when registration is granted)
  • Include attribution: "StackDock™ is a trademark of StackDock"

License Note

The MIT License applies to the StackDock software code. The StackDock trademark is NOT included in the MIT License and remains the property of StackDock.
