In Textinput can't move cursor, can't delete characters

Describe the bug

I entered text using the keyboard in the text Tool. I can position the cursor in the text with the mouse. But I can not move the cursor using the Keyboard. I also can not delete characters.

To reproduce

1. start the app on mac (Tahoe 26.1)
2. create a note
3. use the Text tool to enter text
4. position the cursor in the text using the mouse
5. Now delete does not work and moving the cursor with the keyboard does not work.

Expected behavior

I should be able to move the sursor and delete text
