Graphical glitching issue with electron on Mac

On my old 2012 Macbook Pro the app shows glitched out memory space as the window background.

For example:

This is apparently caused by not explicitly setting the background colour of the HTML body tag.

body {
  background: white
}

Fixes this issue.
