A Python text application designed to allow the local government in KJM Tanzania to schedule bus owners and their drivers to set times and days in advance for the routes available to drive for.
Note: This was intentionally designed as a text application to account for a larger part of the target population not having smart phones. For demonstration purposes, this would therefore be ran on your terminal.
Installations
To run these files, you will need:
- An IDE or text editor: this program was completed in VS code (initially in Jupyter notebooks). If you'd like those, please reach out
- A MySQL database management system e.g. XAMPP, MySQL with WorkBench Please see the attached report page 14 for download/installation links
Program Execution For reference, refer to the report - pages 4 - 10:
- Download all
.pyfiles and the.sqldatabase file - Open and run
Logistics-R-Bus.pyand follow the prompts - To log in and complete actions, below are sample credentials
