Problem with subtitles not showing up

Hi,

I've just moved from Fedora 42 to 43 KDE and did a fresh install of everything.
Using flatpak, I've reinstalled SMplayer but the subtitles aren't working. I thought it was a permission issue so I enabled all the filesystem options in Flatseal but still nothing.

I never had that issue on Fedora 42.

Any ideas?

My answer is rather late, but perhaps your problem still persists. Maybe you accidentally disabled the subtitle visibility? You can change this with the menu or by pressing the "v" key.
