My answer is rather late, but perhaps your problem still persists. Maybe you accidentally disabled the subtitle visibility? You can change this with the menu or by pressing the "v" key. |

Hi,
I've just moved from Fedora 42 to 43 KDE and did a fresh install of everything.
Using flatpak, I've reinstalled SMplayer but the subtitles aren't working. I thought it was a permission issue so I enabled all the filesystem options in Flatseal but still nothing.
I never had that issue on Fedora 42.
Any ideas?
