I’ve been trying to use the connector to link with my TrackMan radar. I’ve been using the OCR to track the data from TPS and it seems to work well when I get clean data from TrackMan.
The only problem I get is when TrackMan has to calculate an estimate for spin rate/spin axis. Whenever TrackMan provides an estimated number, it changes the font to italics and it seems that the connector has a difficult time reading it.
Not sure if there is anything you can do to solve this. I’ve tried using metallic dots on the ball and this reduced how often it occurs, but it’s still happens every 4 or 5 shots.
I’m going to try using some Titleist RCT balls to see if that stops the estimated italics number. Not sure if there’s anything on the connectors end that could be adjusted?
Great connector though. It’s impressive how it can read the data.
