2D registration

Dear Ants community,

I have 200, 2D images and I want to do internal registration( registering all the images into one of the images to make sure they are aligned).I think only rigid registration should be ok.Can I do that with Ants?If yes could you please help me with the instruction?

hey @mindmap2 hope you are doing well. Have no idea if this is still relevant for you, I have just found this issue, but yes, you can do it with rigid registration on 2D images.

command that you can use:

antsRegistrationSyN.sh -d 2 -f your_reference_img.file_extention -m yout_moving_image.file_extention -o output_prefix_ -t r

so -t r tag will perform only rigid registration
-d 2 just tell to ANTs that you are working with 2D, consequently if it will be 3D image you need to specify -d 3
