pull gpiod refactoring from fork

Can you please use libgpiod2 instead? (see fork of your repo by user "exepirit" for an example)

reason: debian Trixie (and others?) seems to install only libgpiod2, wich is incompatible with code written for gpiod1.x

The main reason i ported the code to libgpio2 is ability to run RNode-linux on latest versions of Rasbperry Pi OS and Alpine Linux, which have only libgpio2 in their repositories. I'll be happy to merge the changes into mainline, but my fork slightly outated. Before opening a merge request, I need to rebase my fork.

@strijar, what do you think? Do you welcome porting RNode-linux to libgpio2?

@exepirit I'm compiling my system using buildroot. The version I'm currently using (currently 2024.02) only has libgpiod version 1. Version 2 appears in buildroot 2025.05, but I don't find it stable (it has issues with pulseaudio, which I need).

Okay, I'm look for more library-agnostic approach. Perhaps a component-adapter with GPIO abstraction or something. This will fit better to merge to mainline?

My goal is to support newer systems and make ability to use RNode-linux in DIY hardware, not only RNS-Gate.

@exepirit I can suggest an option: choosing to use the gpiod version via CMakefile - if you implement this and propose a PR, that would be great.
