Audio is sped up or slowed down randomly CUSTOM PACK #60

so i made a custom pack for Postal Dude from Postal 2 and paradise lost.
im not sure if this is a feature or not, but some audio files just dont play correctly.
each time i run the command, it happens with different files.
what happens is when the command is run, there will be random files that will get affected (its not all the same files each time), but what happens is they'll either get sped up, slowed down, garbled, or play fine.
i'd understand the speed up slow down thing if it was trying to be random for some variation, but its the same files each time (in the current session of the command. so like if i run the command, each time a weird file plays, its the same each time it plays again)
i tried to use the speed thing to fix it but it doesnt work
i thought it might be something to do with loading files in ram, but if i remove a file it cant play anymore, so it cant be that.
im unsure. something is going on and it doesnt make sense. logs act like its fine.
but with the speeds, its always changed by the same amount. so slow files are slowed down the same amount, fast files are sped up the same amount. i know its not the files because it changes each time, and they play fine if i manually play them.

my command is this so far.
sudo spank --custom ~/spank/postal --min-amplitude 0.25 --speed 1.0
