Map extracted disease entities to ICD-11 codes using UMLS CUI cross-references for downstream EHR integration.

Details

• UMLS provides cross-references between SNOMED CT concepts and ICD-11 codes via CUI mapping
• Enables billing code support and EHR integration
• Disease entities extracted by automata get SNOMED CUI -> map to ICD-11 via UMLS MRCONSO
• Important for product feasibility and real-world deployment

Acceptance Criteria

• Build CUI-to-ICD-11 mapping from UMLS MRCONSO (SAB=ICD11)
• Add ICD-11 code to disease entity extraction output
• Test mapping coverage on diseases in 18 eval cases
• Document unmapped concepts for future curation
