Director of the growing Application Development practice at HMB, providing technical sales support, and fulfilling the solution architect position across various projects. Responsible for hiring staff members, and overseeing their growth in technical and business consulting areas.<br>

<strong>Software Development Leader - Mettler Toledo</strong><br>
Columbus, OH<br>
January 2010 - February 2015<br>
Technical manager for IS-Field Service (IS-FS) group within corporate IT department. Lead a group of developers, both on-shore and in a shared services team in Warsaw, Poland, to create and enhance applications used by field service technicians to deliver high-tech service solutions. Managed day to day development operations, and delivered design strategies and implementation plans for multiple software applications coordinated across multiple releases schedules, releasing as often as once a month. Directed and designed new architecture approaches for both calibration certificate delivery and sales support applications during this time. Standardized many development processes, including major upgrades to the source code management systems, and the implementation of continuous integration processes that lead to increased application quality. Managed a successful integration process with SAP CRM to provide infield automation for the completion of service assignments electronically.<br>

<strong>Software Engineer - Abercrombie & Fitch</strong><br>
New Albany, OH<br>
April 2007 - January 2010<br>
Architect/Developer for merchandise planning applications for Abercrombie & Fitch. Lead a group of developers in the design and development of applications. Successfully designed, developed, and implemented a color/size level planning system, and a supporting application to reconcile purchase strategies of both top-down and bottom-up approaches to buying. Served as primary liaison between the merchants, planners, and IT. Met regularly with senior planning executives to discuss development priorities, and to set schedules for system maintenance and enhancements.<br>

<strong>Solution Services Lead - SARK, Inc., a division of Software Architects</strong><br>
Columbus, OH<br>
May 2000 - April 2007<br>
Architect/Developer for multiple supply chain applications for Abercrombie & Fitch. Lead other developers in the design and development of applications. Successfully designed, developed, and implemented a full merchandise planning system to replace an existing mainframe application and a source planning system to formalize and improve an ad-hoc Excel spreadsheet process. (01/06 – 04/07)<br>
<p>Promoted to Enterprise Solution Services Lead – Java practice area. Responsible for setting technical direction for Java education of consulting staff. Provided technical guidance for sales staff during sales cycle and developed technical approaches and estimates for proposals. (04/04 – present)</p>
<p>Architect/Developer for multiple intranet applications to perform document indexing and classification for Chemical Abstracts Service. Also designated as the department mentor for members of new and existing J2EE projects. (01/03 – 12/06)</p>
<p>Lead developer for an intranet application for client contract document generation, tracking, and reporting for Qwest Communications. Duties included working with Qwest management and IT personnel to gather requirements and design the system GUI, leading three consultants during approximately eight months of design and development, and working with Qwest IT resources to a successful turnover of the project. In this leadership role, performed many project management tasks including regular reporting on project progress and estimation of future work requirements and time constraints, demos to senior management both inside and outside of Qwest IT, and mentoring of fellow developers being exposed to new technologies. (02/02 – 12/02)</p>

Baseball coach over multiple seasons (continuous from 2010 spring season to current year). Coach at both the recreational and travel levels. In 3 travel seasons, finished wih an overall record of 85-28-2, including 5 tournament championships, and multiple 2nd place finishes.
