I’m using the latest development build of Paperback on Windows 11 25H2. When multiple windows are open and I use Alt+Tab repeatedly to switch away from and back to a book’s text within Paperback, the focus is often lost from the text itself.
Instead of returning focus to the book content, Paperback announces a message like “Paperback - book title pane.” To regain focus on the actual text, I need to press Tab twice: once to navigate to the tab associated with the book, and a second time to move into the book’s text area.
Please note that the “Minimize to system tray” option is unchecked for me.
Reproducing this bug can be a bit inconsistent. Sometimes, using Alt+Tab doesn’t cause any issues. However, repeatedly pressing Alt+Tab in quick succession usually makes the bug easy to duplicate.
