Fullscreen button does not react to outside changes

Describe the bug
When exiting the fullscreen via 'esc´ or any other options besides clicking the fullscreen button again the button does not change.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open any video media
2. enter fullscreen via button
3. press ´esc´ to exit fullscreen
4. observe the button still having the exit fullscreen icon and needing to be pressed twice to re-enter fullscreen

Expected behavior
That the button reacts to fullscreen being closed by anything else but the button itself.
