🚴 Overview

This feature adds realistic steering wheel and handlebar rotation that syncs with wheel movement. By using specific nodes, you can achieve dynamic steering motion, making vehicle controls feel significantly more immersive.

📌 Requirements

Before you start, make sure you have:
🔹 A vehicle model (.dff file) you want to enhance.
🔹 The movsteer dummy (for cars) or fork_front and handlebars nodes (for bikes).

🛠️ Steps to Enable Steering Rotation

1️⃣ Open your vehicle model in 3ds Max, Blender, or ZModeler.
2️⃣ Locate or create the appropriate nodes:

  • 🚗 Cars: Ensure the steering wheel part is named movsteer.
  • 🏍️ Bikes: Ensure fork_front and handlebars are correctly placed.
3️⃣ Save and export your modified model.

🎮 Example

If you have a car with a static wheel, simply rename the steering wheel mesh to movsteer. Once saved and loaded into the game, the wheel will rotate in sync with your steering input, providing a natural and responsive driving experience.

✅ Compatibility & Standalone Support

✨ This feature works with default vehicles containing the correct nodes.

🚀 Universal Support: This system is built to be compatible with models designed for:

  • VehFuncs * Active Dashboard * Vehik Even if these mods are not installed, the steering wheel will still function correctly, providing high realism without requiring extra plugins.
