New Windows update totally changed Start Menu looks, you can hide most stuff in Windows Settings, but the Categories Folders cannot be removed:
Also, since they change really adjusted the width and number of icons in a row, I am really shocked we can't adjust that manually (drag left-right the panel). We went from 6 icons in a row to 8 now and I'm just so confused, all my icons changed their spots. Would be extra great if we could control it by dragging or in settings.

Microsoft also added that a redesigned Start menu introduced with the October 2025 non-security update ([KB5067036]
