Tile menu pin not available and shortcuts made to Dir not showing

Describe the bug

Love it but Due to reading issues and eyes I need the tile menu, but the problem is i cant right click a portable exe and pin to start, nor can i go to the shortcut and make one manually you can but the program does not see them, it only is usable for installed programs it see it its normal start menu. so missing what made the original win 10 so good.
id there anyway you can add this so there is a pin to EX Start added to the context menu of windows 11

I don't think you can pin portable exe's to the start menu. It has to exist in the start menu itself.

You can pin exe's to the taskbar though.

definitely could in windows 10, other way to open the star menu folder and make short cuts in there for bat files etc, then pin those to start tiles, but this app doesn't see the created shortcuts..
windows 11 pins accept the bats and portable exe pined, it be nice to see the tiles menu of this app import those into it, that way it works the same as what 10 had.

tried but seems patched in 2026 windows 11
there are 2 directory's and adding to either or both windows ignores them and they do not show.

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

C:\Users\MyPc\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Please post windows version and build. You can find this by running winver. Please include if you are running x86-64 or Arm. And what language your windows is in.
Please post explorer patcher version, by running EP properties application and click on About on the left side.

? is there a dir for the app it self for manually created short cuts? i tried the above lists drag drop etc no luck. if there is a separate sub directory and if so where should I be looking thank you.
