App upgrade overwrites user theme selection

A few people have reported that when upgrading the app, the theme reverts to light.

This might only apply to specific themes. Going from 0.12.7 to 0.12.8 on Win11-x86, Win11-arm64, and Android did not override XCH Dark (x86 and Android) or Windows 95 (arm) for me.

I had this happen on android when upgrading to 0.12.8.

i went from 0.12.7 to 0.12.8 on my linux machine, and it reverted to light mode, when i had dark (not xch dark) selected in my settings
i just tried it on windows, but didn't select the uninstall before installing tickbox and my dark mode remained
