Hey, my name is Krzysztof! You can call me Chris if it's easier for you - Krzysztof is just 'Christopher' written in a funky Polish way. ๐
๐ซ How to reach me:
I'm a Senior DevOps Consultant at AWS Professional Services Generative AI Innovation Center in Warsaw! ๐ต๐ฑ
Over 5+ years at AWS ProServe I've delivered across automotive, finance, manufacturing, and telecommunications sectors. My work spans the full stack: one of the most advanced autonomous driving data frameworks running entirely in the cloud, GenAI productionalization and Path-to-Production assessments, MLOps pipelines on SageMaker, Kubernetes-based AI inference platforms, and large-scale cloud security automation. The scale varies wildly from project to project - from C-level strategy sessions to backends serving tens of thousands of users daily.
Technically, I specialize in serverless backend development (Python), Kubernetes (EKS) for inference and HPC workloads, scalable Infrastructure as Code (CDK / Terraform / SAM), and DevSecOps - preventive and reactive security controls baked into delivery pipelines.
In my "past life", I've been a robotics engineer. I switched to IT after working on Industrial IoT and Physics High Performance Computing projects at Bosch Rexroth and (as a summer student) at the CERN LHCb experiment, where I received the Moritz Karbach Prize for outstanding contributions.
My superpower is insisting on the highest standards across software development teams - both in how we work (DevSecOps culture) and what we build (production-ready, safe, operations-friendly products). I also genuinely enjoy community building and developer advocacy through public speaking at tech conferences.
I'm passionate about music - I love to explore different aspects of it (theory, genres, folk etc) and discuss / exchange discoveries with my peers. I spend most of my free time playing my guitars & piano, tinkering with my 3D printers or writing some code for my pet projects.
As you might have already guessed, I'm a big nerd. ๐ค
I regularly speak at Python and cloud conferences across Europe. Proven track record of highly-rated sessions (avg. 4.82/5 across all rated talks, 2022-2026).
