fix: resolve intermittent sidebar scroll failure in Chrome

Fixes the issue with scrolling in Chrome wasn't always working.

Will affect visual aspect of the product

Test instructions

• Make sure the behavior that is shown in the video from the issue doesn't happen anymore.
• In my testing, it was happening consistently in Mac when Chrome wasn't in full window and a smaller window.
