Summary
This PR integrates the changes originally submitted by @flowdee in #850 into the
developbranch, in accordance with our contribution workflow.The original contribution includes fixes related to the WordPress.org plugin check process.
In addition to merging those changes, this PR introduces a version bump in
start.phpas part of our standard release preparation process.Credits
All functional changes were originally implemented by @flowdee.
This PR ports those commits into a dedicated integration branch and adds the required version bump for release readiness.
