Summary

  • Fix blockAutoPlay mechanism blocking playback when user plays new content
  • Now only blocks autoplay after manual queue clear (overwritePlayQueue=false)
  • Allows normal playback when selecting new content (overwritePlayQueue=true)

Might fix #115 - I encountered a similar issue and this fix resolved it.

Test plan

  • Tested on Windows 10
  • Playing from home page works
  • Manual "Clear Queue" still keeps player open

The blockAutoPlay mechanism was blocking playback actions even when
the user explicitly plays new content. Now only blocks autoplay after
manual queue clear (overwritePlayQueue=false), allowing normal playback
when selecting new content (overwritePlayQueue=true).

Yea I thought this was the reason why that bug exists...

Honestly I kinda wanna nuke that code but I'll merge this as a stop gap.

The real fix for the player bar disappearing is #121
