Welcome to Divemap! This guide will help you get started using the scuba diving platform.

What is Divemap?

Divemap is a comprehensive scuba diving platform that helps you:

  • Discover dive sites around the world
  • Track your dives with detailed logging

Quick Start for Users

1. Access the Application

  1. Visit https://divemap.fly.dev
  2. Click "Register" or "Sign Up"
  3. Choose your preferred signup method:
    • Google OAuth (recommended)
    • Email registration
  4. Complete your profile information

  1. Browse dive sites on the main map
  2. Search by location using the search bar
  3. Filter by difficulty and other criteria

4. Log Your Dives

  1. Add new dives to your profile

Creating Your First Content

Adding a Dive Site

  1. Navigate to Dive Sites
  2. Click "Add New Dive Site"
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Name and description
    • Location coordinates
    • Difficulty level
    • Maximum depth
    • Water type (salt/fresh)
  4. Submit for review

Logging Your First Dive

  1. Go to Dives section
  2. Click "Add New Dive"
  3. Enter dive information:
    • Date and time
    • Dive site
    • Depth and duration

  4. Save your dive
