Add new map: Firefly Caverns by Flourestar

Very original map! I've never seen any map like this, which disproves my thought that all really good ideas for maps have been used up by now, hehe. Anyway, here are a few things:

1. The map may have a little too much ore. Just my personal opinion, but it just seems like 10+ blocks of diamond is kind of overkill.
2. There are destructible blocks here (The yellow wool is actually indestructible stone) -
   
3. The name is a little weird and may include a typo lol
4. Not a terrible thing, but chests spawn in the "What r u doing?" area.
   Overall, I really like the map, and I look forward to playing it :D

Oh, I might have replaced the indestructible blocks wrongly :/
I notice I typed "Cavern" as "Carvern" ;-;
Diamond blocks cant be crafted into ore or gems, so i used it. But I can change that into indestructible ones also i guess? The idea originally is to let the players mine the diamond blocks and build defences with it since its hard to break.
I remember including the "what are you doing" area into the 2 chest zones :E. (I put that for noclippers to see) Should i patch that along with the other issues into a new file?

only problem is :

I understand this area is not to be accessed by players,some chests are spawning here,ii suppose that was not part of your plan?you can do custom chest zones to prevent this.

Weird, I remember leaving this area without chest zones going into them.
Ig i will try to patch the map later tmmr or something, going to sleep rn since it's late in china.

You can't get diamonds out of diamond blocks though. Edit: my bad, they explained it

Yes, he pointed that out to me. I had no experience with diamond blocks and only thought about the mese blocks so I assumed that diamond blocks could produce diamond as well. Sorry about that.

• Btw you could also use ctf_map:ignore around the lava falls. Obsidian glass is fine as well ofc.

It could be due to an outdated Minetest and/or CTF version.
Please try to save the map again with the latest version.
In the meantime, I will try to edit/re-save your map myself and send you the revised files if necessary.

Btw, your screenshot is still not correct.

This map is good, but I don't think you need to include the stone sword in the initial stuff, and the hint is weird. I couldn't find any breakable diamond blocks, and if there were any they'd be better used for swords.

I really like the style of your map. I don't know if everyone does, but my game crashes when the barrier comes down.

A new underground map, hmmm? I'd like to see this one make it onto the server but with a few changes.

1. Allow the player to mine more of the ores on the map, especially the diamond ores. This map is designed for classic after all and the more ores each side can have, the better.
2. Make the map longer. This would take a lot of effort, but the map is too short as is and people would be able to speedrun it very easily. Making it so that the flags are 100-125 blocks apart instead of 85 blocks apart would fix this issue.
   Other than that, if this map were to make it onto the server, Firefly Caverns would easily become my favorite underground map. Please add this!

Edit: By the way, your map is missing a screenshot image. Make to sure to add a screenshot for your map!
