Move migrated page metadata into Fern frontmatter and update navigation, preview, and publishing guidance so the Fern workflow stays consistent across docs and skills.
Keep explicit navbar slugs in the version navigation and simplify frontmatter so migrated pages follow Fern's sidebar and routing behavior more predictably.
Keep the desktop sidebar height within the visible viewport so the last navigation items remain reachable below the header and announcement bar.

Use a workflow step output to decide whether to run the Fern preview steps so pull requests without Fern credentials skip cleanly with an explicit notice.

Flatten the latest Fern content into fern/pages and update navigation and internal authoring references to match the new layout without changing the published docs behavior.
Group tutorials under Get Started and label the homepage explore cards so readers can scan learning paths and reference material more quickly.
