+## Running the Project Locally
+
+### Prerequisites
+- Node.js v18 or higher
+- Docker
+- pnpm (recommended) or npm
+
+### Backend Setup
+
+1. **Start PostgreSQL Database**
+   ```bash
+   cd medwork-backend
+   docker-compose up -d
+   ```
+   This will start a PostgreSQL instance with the following configuration:
+   - Database: `medwork`
+   - User: `admin`
+   - Password: `password123`
+   - Port: `5432`
+
+2. **Create Backend Environment File**
+   ```bash
+   cd medwork-backend
+   cp .env.example .env
+   ```

+   Or create a `.env` file with the following content:
