These are my little projects for 3D printers, which I find useful and handy; they are shared here under the Creative common Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license. If you need another license, please contact me.

You can find these models also on Maker World.

NespressoⓇ VertuoⓇ stand

This is a completely parametric design to build a stand for NespressoⓇ VertuoⓇ 's capsules. I know that there are hundreds of designs around the 'net, but this has some features I could not find in others:

  • It's very compact, occupying little more space than the capsules themselves;
  • You can access each one of the capsules independently;
  • You can choose to have it stand by itself or hang it (see parameters in the code);
  • It prints with almost no support material (just a tiny bit for the hanging holes, if presents; just use the flat side as the base).

Look in the VertuoStand directory for the OpenScad code and the Bambu Studio project for a 3x5 stand as in the photos below.

Notice the very nice Jake's low profile dip tray on the Pop machine.

Update: you have a new version with more rounded ends that requires BelfrySCAD's BOSL2 library.

Wedges for keeping the laptop cool(er)

I have a laptop (Lenovo L13 Yoga) that, when stressed a bit, can become very hot and noisy. The thing isn't helped by the fact that all the venting zones are on the underside, and if you lay it on some kind of softish surface (just a table cloth suffices) the effectiveness of cooling is even worse.

I know that there are bases you can buy to keep it separated from the table (and some of them even have their own extra cooling), but they're big and in the end you never bring them along.

So I designed and printed a couple of small wedges that fits nicely, are more than sufficient to keep the laptop vents separated from the table, and fit everywhere in your bag.

They are very specific to my model, but you have the source code here so you can adapt them to your own laptop quite easily. The source is highly commented.

Roll-on upside-down stand

Roll-ons are quite handy but when they're almost empty, you need to keep them upside down, or you'll end up throwing away a lot of whatever they contain. Some brands design the cap so that it can be done natively, but others... clearly prefer that you buy a new one.

This stand (easy to adapt to your preferred brand, source code is here) will enable you to use up to the last drop of content.
