Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We are committed to making participation in this project a harassment-free experience for everyone — regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socioeconomic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, color, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.

Our Standards

Behavior that contributes to a positive environment:

  • Being kind, patient, and respectful in all communications
  • Welcoming newcomers and people of all experience levels
  • Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and approaches
  • Giving specific, constructive, and actionable feedback
  • Accepting feedback gracefully and without defensiveness
  • Accepting responsibility for mistakes and learning from them
  • Focusing on the work and what is best for the community — not the person

Behavior that is not acceptable:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind
  • Trolling, insulting, condescending, or derogatory comments
  • Personal or political attacks
  • Publishing anyone's private information without explicit permission
  • Any conduct that would reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all project spaces — GitHub issues, pull requests, discussions, and any channel where community members represent the project. It also applies when an individual is officially representing the project in public spaces.

Reporting

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported to the project maintainers via our Community Code of Conduct Report Form.

You may submit reports completely anonymously. However, if you wish to be updated on the progress of your report or are willing to provide more details, please leave an optional contact method (Email or GitHub ID) in the form. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly, and we will maintain strict confidentiality.

Enforcement

Instances of unacceptable behavior may be reported by opening a GitHub issue or contacting the maintainer directly via GitHub. All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. The maintainer is obligated to maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter.

Project maintainers will follow these Community Impact Guidelines when determining consequences:

  1. Correction — A private, written warning with clarity around the violation and why the behavior was inappropriate.
  2. Warning — A formal warning with consequences for continued behavior.
  3. Temporary Ban — A temporary ban from any interaction or public communication with the community for a specified period.
  4. Permanent Ban — A permanent ban from any public interaction within the project.
