This PR merely fixes the line endings (set them to LF). Line endings should be always set to LF and git should be responsible for properly converting them at checkout and commits., if necessary. http://adaptivepatchwork.com/2012/03/01/mind-the-end-of-your-line/
I have more PRs to submit but I decided to start fixing the the line endings to make it easier for future contributors and my future PRs.
