I love the whimsy in the images!

I'm unsure if coshp is mature enough to add to the guide, especially with respect to the read/client story (the "Not Even Remotely Done" section of Paul's post). I think I'd like to see at least one, and hopefully more, examples of real-world clients and/or use cases?

so currently we do have three independent tools for creating .qix files (coshp, gdal, mapserver) and two independent tools for reordering shapefiles (coshp, gdal), but you are right we only have one tool at the moment that reads them.

Now while this was originally created as a bit of a lark, but I think cloud optimized shapefiles could probably find a niche similar to flatgeobuf's for allowing random geospatial access to vector data without a server.
