I have upgraded plugin to Grails 3.1.1 successfully and created plugin with version 3.0-M1 . Please check the pull request and allow it to get merged.

you can add this dependency by adding following repository to your build.gradle
https://dl.bintray.com/sachinverma/plugins
I would raise a request to add this plugin to grails central bintray as well.
