  • implements genomics handler prevalence.PrevalenceByLocationAndTimeHandler2 with query and post-processing optimizations
  • maps to /genomics/prevalence-by-location2 API call for use
  • takes ~6.45s and ~13.12s for Omicron and Delta VOCs, respectively, compared to ~74.77s and ~115.65s from original handler [tested with API deployed on local machine]
  • TODOs
    • test with additional user args such as location_id and mutations to confirm comparable performance
